Hello, my name is Ann-Kathrin and I’m a documentary wedding photographer.

I am from Germany and lucky enough to be able to share my time between there and England – Hamburg and Birmingham, to be precise. And being German I do like to be precise.

I love travelling and photographing weddings in both countries is the perfect balance for me.
It also means I don’t have to decide between real ale or Fischbrötchen, I’ll just have both.

I’ve also had a long term love affair with analogue film photography. Film lets me create the pictures I see in my head. It has soul and depth. A softness and a lightness that makes my heart sing.

I like to find what makes people laugh, go to the cinema a lot, choose red wine over white and focus on the visual impact, detail and storytelling in every frame.
