Engagement portraits in the Cotswolds

JULIA AND SEAN

“This is Miso” Julia says, and points at the furry black and white shape that seems to be everywhere all at once. We planned to do Julia and Sean’s engagement portraits in the Cotswolds so that Miso could come along as well. So on a surprisingly sunny evening for what had been a very cold and wet May we all met up in the midst of Cotswolds cottages for a bit of a countryside stroll. Some of us may have been doing triple the amount of mileage but with four legs he clearly had an advantage.

I loved how the late evening sun made everything glow golden and, due to leafy trees and a black and white furry flash racing through, how we ended up with a set of images so different to Julia and Sean’s wedding.

All shot on Kodak Portra 800, developed and scanned at Richard Photo Lab.
