Portraits at Richmond Park

CHARLOTTE AND JONATHAN

It’s a grey and misty morning in London. The cold clings to the grass and leaves that have turned yellow and orange softly fall to the ground without a sound. From a distance I can hear Charlotte and Jonathan before I can see them – it’s a rustling sound, in the leaves and the tall grass, and to be fair it’s not them at all. It’s their little dog and she makes her way towards me only to turn around immediately and run across the field back to them. It may have been a grey and misty morning for portraits at Richmond Park but between Charlotte’s golden hair, Jonathan’s beaming smile and all the laughing we did it was mostly just a really good morning. Just perfect for an Autumn day in London.

All shot on Kodak Portra 400, developed and scanned at Richard Photo Lab.
