Helen & Simon

Now, who you are seeing above are not actually Helen and Simon. It’s Lily, with a bit of Helen behind her. And Simon would be Lily’s dad.

I met all three of them last week in London to go bowling. Helen and Simon are getting married in June and when I asked if there was anything special they’d like to do for their pre-wedding photoshoot Helen immediately suggested Brick Lane as they used to spend a lot of time there before Lily was around. Luckily for me Lily was definitely around as we went bowling and I barely could keep my camera away from her. This face still makes me laugh when I see it.
We prepared ourselves against what was to come with burgers and milkshakes before flexing our bowling muscles, keeping in tune with the fabulous style of All Star Lanes. That milkshake was something else and I still sometimes dream of it.

My bowling skills however left a lot to be desired but both Helen and Simon were kind enough not to point this out. At least not too much.

I got slightly excited when Helen and Simon announced that they had practiced photo face with Lily. This is not it. This is just her normal face.

I dare anyone not to be excited about her well honed photo face:

What a great family. I can’t wait for your wedding guys! I’m sure it will be at least as good as that milkshake.

Lovely professional photos. Crisp, high definition and focus.

Some great family shots, Lily being the true star.

Well done.

Thank you both! :)

Dan, you’ll be happy to hear that Simon is a graphic designer as well. Their wedding invitations are a cracker!
