Lami & Jim, A Wedding at the Four Seasons Park Lane

Lami and Jim planned to have a small wedding on a cool September Thursday in London. What they ended up with was a beautiful celebration of them with all their friends and families on a hot and sunny day, with a ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall, a blessing at St. John’s Wood Church and a reception at the Four Seasons Park Lane. It was in London and it was a Thursday. And it was amazing.

Expecting an Autumnal feel for her September wedding Lami fell in love with a beautiful slightly sparkly tweed number from Delphine Manivet to keep her looking classy and warm. I just adore her dress, especially since it has pockets, and can’t help but admire how she made it through the rather warm day whilst still looking spectacular at any point. Plus it went so well with her glittery Jimmy Choos.
Being able to see how such a close-knit family (including Lami’s seemingly never ending amount of sisters) welcomed both Jim and his family into their middle was one of the highlights of the day. The other highlights were pretty much the entire rest of the day which went by too fast. Big thanks goes to Aron Schlagman at the Four Seasons for looking after me so well.

Congratulations, Lami and Jim! If every day of your life together is only half as wonderful as your wedding day you’ll have a great future ahead of you.

Absolutely beautiful wedding with exquisite details. I never expected anything less. Gorgeous couple! Love the flowers too. And their portrait shots are just dreamy.

Fabulous set of images from what was obviously a delightful wedding – you’ve really developed a signature style to your work which I thoroughly admire. Your images don’t need watermarks because they already say AKK. Not sure if it’s the colour toning, the composition or just the fact you capture the image at exactly the right moment… or, maybe a combination of so many different aspects. Reportage work. Grab shots. Portraits. A great mix of imagery that perfectly captures a story, then bottles it forever. Enjoy looking through your posts though, and feeling inspired.
