My Oma

I’ve written about my Oma before. Mostly because I love her loads. But also because I am very grateful for her to be ever so patient with me snapping away when we go out for our walks. It’s always the same, I take as many photos of her as she’ll let me, she will demand to see them next time I come back, declare herself to look too old and we continue on our walk. She will be 98 next month. Every little wrinkle tells a bit of her story and what I love most about it is that you can tell she is a woman who loves to laugh. Here’s to plenty more walks, with ice cream and laughter and wrinkles.

All shot on Kodak Portra 400 with a Hasselblad 500C/M and Nikon F100, scanned by the FIND lab.

You know I’ve always loved your Oma, but this just sends it over the top. The shots of her hands especially. And she looks smokin’ in your sunglasses!

spending time with her always makes me wonder whether I will be able to look back on such a life filled with plenty of everything like she can.
Love the pics of course!

Lovely photos Ann. Hope Oma likes them, though I’m sure all the family will.
