With the bright stage lights shining directly into my eyes, Vicky and Emmanuel dazzling me with their even brighter smiles and a crew of stage technicians from the Royal opera House behind me everything felt just a little bit surreal. But this Sunday full of wonder, merriment and excitement was indeed real. And I’m glad it was, I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it for anything. Congratulations, you two wonderful people. More to come.
