Carcassonne France Portrait Photography

TRICIA & JOSH

Tricia and Josh did it exactly right – they live in New York and when they travelled all the way to the South of France to get married at La Moulinasse near Carcassonne they wanted to enjoy the day. The whole day, and not spend hours finding the perfect location for the wedding portraits.

But when you get married in a foreign country it would be amazing to have that memory of this fantastic place, surely? It’s not like you’ll walk down that cobblestoned street of what used to be a Roman fort in the fifth century every day.

So we met up two days after the wedding in the old Cité de Carcassonne to create some memories. With Trish and Josh looking as fab as ever the hardest part was dodging the crazy amount of tourists that populate Carcassonne on a warm Sunday afternoon in late September. I think we did quite well.

Shot on film, all Kodak Portra 800, scanned and developed by UK Film Lab.
