VICTORIA + MARK // SCOTLAND

I look into Victoria’s eyes, looking at Mark, and I see a light. It sparkles and shines and Mark’s smile shows me he knows. Their hands find each other instinctively and as they walk away Mark says something that makes Victoria laugh, the kind of laughter that makes you grin even as it fades away.

These two are truly special people and watching them walk down the aisle, take their vows and celebrate this love to each other made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Victoria and Mark live in Hong Kong but met in the UK. Getting married in Scotland was the perfect choice: The rugged hills, tall grass and never ending sky were the most amazing backdrop to their wedding at Drumtochty Castle. And holy guacamole, what a wedding this was! When I met Victoria and Mark over a year ago and we spent hours on Skype waving cats around and laughing tears, with every little (or long!) email I exchanged with Victoria over the last 15 months, I knew this would be a corker. From the most beautiful stationary by Tom Gautier, the sea of flowers by Planet Flowers, the incredible place that is Drumtochty Castle and the magic that Shutterbox created (see a little trailer here), I could not have wished to work with better people. I could talk about the flowers alone for days. Instead I promise not to quote song lyrics again anytime soon and will leave you to take in some of the exquisiteness yourself.
